HOME DEPOT ISN'T JUST FOR BOYS!
LET'S DO THIS!!!
My daughter and I needed to get some things done!
We shopped at Home Depot for our night out together. She is going to be making a tufted head board. I needed magnets. When one of the employees saw me carrying a box of muratic acid for an upcoming project he offered me a cart - but when he returned it was one of those huge ones like a flat bed truck!
I felt silly pushing it around the store with a small box and my daughters feet were hurting from her high heels so it just made sense that she got on the cart too! We ended up racing through the aisles, putting buckets on her head, spinning around in circles and laughing hysterically. It was pretty cute when one of the men in the store asked "what aisle is she on" - I told him I "got the last one!" LOL
This is what I needed the magnets for.
I took a collection of vintage earrings and pulled off the back metal clip with a pair of pliers. I then hot glued a magnet onto the back of each earring.
I have found that purchasing magnets at Home Depot rather than a craft store is much less expensive. I am attaching a link to the magnets I purchased.
I think they are so beautiful all bunched together. And our mother - daughter date night was very memorable :)
